How and Where Do I Groom Your Dog?

Starting my own dog grooming business is definetly not the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I live in a small two bedroom one bath house. We (meaning my husband and I) have renovated our house and are slowly starting to finish our basemen. I would love for our basement to look like a mini dog salon. So we’ll see what the finish look will be.

As of right now this is what I use. I have all my supplies in drawers and the dog on the table. Our basement ceiling is unfinished and quite low. So if I ever need to use a harness, I can easily and safely tie them up. All shaving, nails, and ear cleaning are done here.

This is the dog bath we are working on. Tiles are the only thing we are waiting on to finish this. I’m so excited to have all the mess in one room instead of the whole house! As I’m patiently waiting for the tiles to come in, I do all dog baths in the bath tub. It is definitely not the great but I have to start somewhere.
